Currawong seems to be a good sport about the whole thing, so either one of these is a winner in my book.

My vote cast.

^ See and that proves the point...... he is always watching...... do do doo do... do do doo do.... *twilightzonesong*

I vote for the watching pic for next month biggrin.gif

Can we just do Currawong-is-watching-cember? January should be Jude-January biggrin.gif

Also, if people like the idea of Jude January, I think a hilarious way for everyone to be original is to find funny facial expressions of Jude by just simply pausing an episode of Head-Fi TV. I think that might get all of us banned LOL

They break it up into tiny pieces on the ground before eating. The Currawongs were less polite, just coming down and stealing whatever food. Anyhow, I signed up to a form of online chat back in the early '90s and was trying to think of a name to use long-term. Magpie didn't sound right, but Currawong did, so I've used it since. I'm thinking of switching to using my real name instead now though.

Might this be your handiwork? Amazing if it is.

I think I'll finally join in the discussion and also add my vote for the Currawong avatar for December.

YES. I finnaly figured out something to shoe-horn alliteration for December's theme: Dedicated December: a tribute theme dedicated to Currawong for his diligence and dedication to keep the forums a nicer place to go off-topic.

That works!

I like it.

Then again I would be dedicated too for unlimited power over head-fi and get paid for it biggrin.gif

i joke i joke!

Edit: I think now we can start a poll on what we call it.

I throw in Currawong Christmas.

1. Dedicated December
2. Currawong Christmas

We should add some ideas to the list and then vote. Or maybe we vote on if we should do that.... biggrin.gif

Wow great workaround with going alliterative, Doc! I kind of like "Currawong Christmas".

As long as the PC police don't pitch a fit, that name should work. Kind of excludes the last six days of the month, though.

I also like "Currawong Christmas." If this idea is the one we end up using, I think that Currawong should be in the name.

I've spotted another issue. That name doesn't actually contain the name of the month. Now, granted, it's kind of obvious which month Christmas is in, but up until now it's been x (x...) [month].

And, slightly off topic for this post (which itt = good), somehow Currawong Christmas makes me imagine the bird with a Santa hat on, with snow falling in the background. Which is hilarious because it's summer in Australia when Christmas rolls around.

This is a must-happen scenario. Or even better, make it an Australian Christmas, where a currawong is wearing a santa hat on with a beach background (and a kangaroo).

It is not like there is some time honored tradition that dates back to some ancient prehistoric era or something,,,,,,,, This started all the way back in october 2012. I think if we change it up a smidge in the spirit of xmas it won't be the end of the world....... beyersmile.png

(2012).…Or will it? rolleyes.gif
