Correct! Robert Duvall early in his career.

I'll have to give that a shot. I've said a few choice words before about the typical audiophile. 400-600 words, though. I think I've had sentences that were 400 words long. biggrin.gif

I submitted my diatribe - I can do 400 words standing on my head...

I don't expect to get chosen - but I was bored...

I had something bizarre happen to me just now. I was browsing the samples on Decca's online catalogue, and one particular track happened to be the exact same performance of the piece I'd had for years. I'd never known who actually played it because it was on one of those uber-cheap classical discs you pick up at the supermarket (hey, I was 10 and didn't know or care what Deutsche-Grammophon was!), and they rarely bother to give you much information about where the recordings came from.

Now I just have to wonder how the people who put together that collection got a hold of a Decca recording, and whether or not they were supposed to use it.

That's quite the experience, Argyris.

Politically-correct term:  It presents an excellent value proposition.

They represent a revenue challenge for JVC.

George Carlin used to do a great bit about the softening of language. Something like: The poor aren't "economically disadvantaged" - they are BROKE! They have no f*ng money!
