If these were musical notes, I'd opt for the silent note. normal_smile%20.gif rolleyes.gif

Heya,

But if you don't hear the note, is it really there?

Very best,

As a former musician I can tell you, some of the most important notes are the ones not played. Also, silence in the background and between notes can take the notes eventually heard to a higher plane. wink_face.gif

Heya,

Warren, any chance you could tweak my lion a little bit, make him look a bit more ferocious? (saber-tooth fangs or some such thing)

Very best,

so it doesn't affect flavor or anything?

Wait... so pipe is basically like smoking a cigar, except you don't touch the tobacco... so maybe aroma?

Different pipes smoke in different ways, but it usually isn't analogous to price. I have some cheaper ($50-100) pipes that are great smokers. Usually more expensive pipes are from prominent makers in limited production numbers, collector's items, and often have silver or gold fittings. Castello makes some great pipes and are generally considered to be superb across the board.

Two of my favorite pipes were a 3 Star Brigham and a Classic S shaped Peterson. A nice smooth bowl of D&E Irish Mead till you couldn't get it anymore.
