Thanks mate, but if you thought that was funny, you should check out the end of this post...
OH REALLY?
Okay then...
WiR3D, gave you a new haircut. Hope you don't mind.
Cool, noted and recorded!

LOL, thank you sir! Much appreciated!
Just an "artist's rendering" of course, but Ima bust a nut laughing if he actually looks like that.
LMFAO!
I couldn't pull off that hair if I wanted to :(
oh god, and Ryan Gosling is my man crush, for the record, I'm currently rocking this hair style, only go all out 1940's when I go clubbing.
Its a fair bit off, I have a slightly wider mouth and slightly bigger lips, eyes are brown, and a tiny bit further apart, my jaw is a little more Matt Damon and ears are smaller.
But I am so tempted to toss some Denons in there and use it in the iphone for the noobatar
EDIT: oh and my eyebrows are darker, and hair is chocolate brown.... yes my hair dresser/stylist makes a lot of money off of me.
Dude you made my evening.
4:11am Listening to:
Daft Punk - Adagio for Tron (Teddybears remix).flac -> SGS3 (Neutron 64bit) -> vol out -> Fiio E7 -> Denon D7000, and it sounds fantastic in my half dazed and very pissy state.
Don't judge me :( I had to give the Marantz 2270 back to my dad and no PC for my STX, and no USB OTG cable for the SGS3 to the E7)
Its much better then developing in Titanium Studio which is the most buggy SW since Windows ME.

LMFAO!

Still, I made ya look pretty good though right? Even if I'm not even close?
But then no one would recognize you (sans the red and yellow motif). It's cool, just some fun amongst us TMACians.
Glad to be of service!
Was literally cracking up at times while I did it.

LOL, hey I don't even have a decent DAC atm. Again, Black Friday and Cyber Monday to the rescue I hope. Besides, Daft Punk is perfect at any bitrate.

It was awesum, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way :P

Fair point, it has become a trademark of mine. That and my slightly nuts behaviour. And hatred for the uninformed - but we share that.
Glad to be of service!

I once photoshopped my lecturer for a practical on beautification, I made him bald, was fkn hilarious, had the opposite effect, but the other lecturer gave me a distinction because she couldn't stop canning herself.

I just miss the Marantz... it was truly epic on these random Sansui speakers (some Chinese rebrand that seriously packs a wallop, find of the century, Paid $200, clarity level of my AKG K242HD [Driven by my STX with THS4032] with a little less dynamics and more subbass, easily below audible since I feel it in the couch without hearing it, just a bit uncontrolled at 20Hz.)
Talking of DACs - I want a Yulong D18 :(, well after I get a AudioGD Master 8 + some Magnepan MMG's once I can figure out how the hell to get them here.
OT: I really don't believe in Electronics burn in... it just doesn't make sense to me, but I swear I have heard changes with opamps, after about 20 hours they settle, and the same with the Fiio E7, now at 50~100 hours it has much more headroom. Previously it was pathetic with my Denons. Now not so bad, could still use more current though.

(naw just been bored, im under the weather today) Maybe I'll be on the number one spot on the stats tmrrw like him....
In a really odd way, it reminds me of someone.
Yup. In fact, I can't even remember another avatar with that color combination. Oh, just a bit of clarification on the HiFiGuy thing earlier. I didn't mean to say that he was not thrilled with your comments. I meant to say that in the final analysis, he wasn't thrilled with Beats.
LOL, clearly he was a dick to her.

Any chance of scoring another? Or was that a one-of-a-kind eBay thing?
It doesn't.
Then today is your lucky day my friend! I have a pair of Eskuche 33 1/3. They were bass-heavy and muddy to begin with. After about 10 hours of burn-in, they now truly sound like ****. If you look in the spoiler box of this post, I left a little review there.

Bored? You can always step forward address the theory of "Play-in." After all, it would seem even if a component or part was burned-in and settled, if it laid dormant for some time (long time...) but was use to having current through it often, wouldn't it revert back to an earlier state?

I actually really do suspect so, its like changing opamps, even if you have had them in not too long ago, you haveto go through the settling down phase again. Atleast thats what I have heard, multiple times. Still really don't get electronics burn-in, I guess settling down is more apt.
What I personally notice is soundstage opens up, less sibilance and better bass control. Enough to notice. The bass response I suspect is just better current delivery. as for the Highs and soundstage... erm control of current and voltage? (I know just above nothing about this stuff) so could it be the caps sorting out electron flow for instance?
Where is stv014 when you need him
EDIT: and OT Neutron players Automatic Gain Protection is quite sweet, stops clipping and distortion from the HP jack very very very well. Just have to get used to the volume drop it does when it detects it.

That's a great point, and one I've often asked (when I was trying to get people to think about it logically--an anathema on Head-Fi sometimes). Here's another related point. If burn-in is real, and if it is universally positive, then why don't they just run the things for 100 hours or so in the factory before shipping them out? Granted, you couldn't do it for all the cheapos, but for the high dollar cans, of which you might sell a few thousand in a year, why not burn 'em in as a complementary service? After all, what if somebody returned them after their first impression was lousy, not knowing that you're supposed to watch your playback counter in Foobar and that at exactly 300 hours they'll bloom into a peach.
I've had my DT880 for over two years. It must have at least 1,000 hours on it. The treble is still bright before I EQ it down. Maybe at 2,000 hours it will smooth out and be just awesome!
That said, I did experience something weird with the M50, where the bass went from being tolerable to being ridiculously loud after about a hour out of the box. I returned them for that very reason, since the bass was also loose and bled way too much into the mids. I listened to them in the shop and they sounded fine. I got them home and after a day I knew I couldn't handle them. I think it's far more likely that the bass just caught up with me, but I'm still taken aback that my judgment was that poor.

I believe in both concepts - burn-in & play-in. Of course, it is going to depend on the part or component. And if Doc-holliday really gets bored, we could discuss the impact temperatures have.
Weird you bring that up. I swear when I was using my SRH440 outside (as earmuffs) during the winter once the bass sounded anemic, as though the driver was having trouble reaching its full excursion because of the cold. That said, I doubt it was anywhere near as cold inside the enclosure as it was outside, both because it's sealed (and thus could capture body head from my ears) and because the driver itself causes friction as it moves.
