Well, they both make sounds, that's for sure. tongue.gif

In the interest of supporting and educating newbies whose unfortunate lot it is to fall prey to this website and it's plethora of ill-educated advice, I propose the following:-

Whenever one of the frequent posters to this thread runs into a thread started by a newbie such as this:

http://www.head-fi.org/t/658514/hello-everyone#post_9330328

I believe it is our moral responsibility to burden then victim with our abundant supply of misinformation to help them become a true headfier.

If we renege on this necessary task the poor clod will only be filled with other moribund and spurious garbage that proliferates these pernicious portals.

I remains to remind us that even though our atrocious advice is just as misinformed as any other found on Head-Fi, it has only one redeeming feature lacking elsewhere.

At least our garbage is more entertaining, and perhaps the lout will be so rapt in the joy of miscommunication that he may never realise he is dealing with vacuous vaporware.

Ah, "Sorry about your wallet."

That's actually never applied to me since I don't own any audio equipment. I've always been tempted to buy something but I still haven't, and it's been a bit over a year already...

One, two, three - SHAME, SHAME, SHAME.

Please, get on the treadmill and enjoy...

Here are your options.

Actually, my fellow TMACians.  Today, we are faced with a mortal (i.e. irritatingly annoying) threat to the very fabric of existence.  It has been sighted, it has a name, and it must be properly educated so that it does not corrupt this paradise we have built for ourselves.  I am, of course, speaking of the one known as zardak.  I call upon all TMACians to visit the following

Thread appears to be locked. Probably for the best, really. I'm still reading through it. I like that he implies well-known neutral headphones are crap at neutrality. rolleyes.gif I also like the appearance of a dear friend to the TMAC thread shortly after Warren's callout--always watching indeed.

He hasn't really technically broken any rules badly and isn't full on attacking people...yet

I just hope he doesn't eventually say something about any more of my headphones (he did the SRH440 already). I might have to step up my assault of supremely not caring.

As long as no noobs are taken in by his poorly-made recommendations, it's more of a fly in the ointment kind of thing.
