I stopped watching anime some time ago, but do occasionally see something when my 8yo checks a show or 2 out. This may be a spinoff of the anime thread, but it was meant to be it's own entity. If it's going to be a 99% anime themed type thing I'm gone. Especially since "MuppetFaceMarch" got hijacked with "themes within themes".

Darn it if Achmed/Argyris is done everyone from both camps would be satisfied and those animu enough can use the latter's Sakaki. No complaints on animu then since it's wouldn't be the primary theme (it'd just be to honor a fellow member), not to mention the simplicity of the avatar would make for good cohesiveness/theme-y-ness. It's just be a poorly drawn, simplistic girl staring out at the screen. Which happens to be from a cartoon. And there'd be little room for customization as well since there's not much to do with it, so it'd get less confusing/theme-within-a-theme-ish.
Really think there should be a month taken out to exploit honor fellow TMACers though. 
It'd be the nice thing to do.
