LOL, so do you have a DAP selection ritual in the morning?  Or is it based on taking whichever one you remembered to charge?

Well, that's how I choose which rockboxed Clip Zip to carry when I leave the house....whichever one has more charge.

The rockboxed e280 is the bring-to-work player....it's in a nice thick hard case so it's well protected.

The  iPod Mini I recently removed rockbox from....the headphone jack appears to be going, but after the iTunes restore, I can still dock it to a car stereo if I'm in a compatible car.  

The Samsung Galaxy 5.0 has wifi so I can check my email or download my podcasts' audio versions with it, and I use it as a portable video player.  I also use it occasionally as an e-reader and I have a couple versions of Angry Birds on there if I need to kill time somewhere.

For my day-to-day listening around the house, it's either the rockboxed iPod Video 5.5G with the FiiO E11, or the Cowon X9.  Since the X9 is the new toy, and the rated 110-hour battery life so far seems to be living up to the billing, right now that is getting more head time than the 5.5.

Amazing as it may sound to some people, I'm pretty happy with the collection....no desire for any of the *cough*audiophile*cough* players.

The only player out there I'm really interested in is the FiiO X3, but I'm in no hurry, I got plenty of good players already.

You guys think you can use the above pic and possibly give it a more MuppetFace look to it?

I am going to fuschiafy and greenify a picture! (Or just give up and use the 2nd one )

No, don't give up!  Honestly, I've been doing a couple, and even the process itself has been pretty fun[ny] and entertaining.

DigitalFreak, here ya go!  It's a little bit rough, but at the smaller avatar size, it'll look just fine.

And for my avatar...  I'm going with the following for two reasons:  (a) because any avatar I come up with would pale in comparison to the real deal; and (b) it just totally cracks me up!

None at all. I never even used the player with its original firmware when I got it......I installed Rockbox immediately (the stable release). But I've been using it on Sansas for about 3.5 years now, so it was a no-brainer.

Waiting for wifey's approval but since it's 12h from March here abroad, I am in like the proverbial fish in the proverbial barrel.

If anyone can do a custom and put in a tiny bit of SNSD (fany) to please the wifey, that would be the best of both worlds though...

Ahh I see.  I've had mine for ages.  As a result, I've kinda gotten used to the native UI.  I was gonna Rockbox it years ago, but then I got my Zune and shelved the E250.  However, since the only form of lossless that the Zune can support is WMA (and I'm not about to do a mass conversion), I was thinking of whipping out the Sansa again.

I love the metal casing, but is it just me or is that little sucker as heavy as Schiit?
