Perhaps that's why the original thread on the topic was removed. Of course I didn't witness that, but it's mentioned in the OP.
EDIT: Reading a bit further into that thread, I started hoping, desperately hoping, that somebody would pop up and shout "April Fools'!" It's like a compendium of the worst sorts of audiophile hearsay. Sadly, I counted at least two n00bs who believed what they were reading, presumably because there was a "consensus" presented. It's all well and good buying into spuriousness yourself--it's your money, after all. But when you lead others to do so and present its validity as fact, that's where I feel real damage is done.
That's what I meant when I said I didn't have anything constructive to add.

I knew it! All those graphs are secretly marketing tools!!! It's like that "How to Serve Man" book. We think it's for our benefit, but secretly it's something different altogether!
