Haha finally a mildly related question to HF! UE700 is a pretty good sounding IEM and for that price, I think of it as a very good deal. It has the same TWFK as a lot of popular IEMs like the Fischer DBA-02, Vsonic GR01, and many others. To be honest, I think the UE700 is considered to be one of the better tuned TWFKs but it's not quite as good as the GR01. I noticed that there were quality issues with the earlier pre-Logitech models, but after Logitech took over, apparently the build quality went up. It's an overall pleasant sounding IEM with a pretty well extended bass and mildly bright treble.

Actually, now that I think about it, the one that you've chosen just happens to be WiR3D's personal version.  He'd probably be cool with you using if you asked.  But just to be on the safe side, might want to choose one of the others in the meantime.  Feel free to use mine if you like!

I think I was reading through the JVC s400 CNT thread and kept seeing doc holiday's avatar.  Also, you guys are all over the deals thread too.

Because of this thread I now know what a Currawong is, so I have expanded my mind

Good ol' Doc!  Don't know if you went all the way back to the beginning of this thread (or saw the Explain Your Avatar thread before this), but we're all about having a good time.  Mainly through the avatar thing, but also just hanging out during the slower parts of the month.

We leave our egos at the door, and off topic posts are TOTALLY welcome here. 

Yeah, those two Deals threads are serious business.  As you can tell, it's easy to go broke if you hang out there for too long a time.
