Has anyone ever worked with Sharepoint 2013 list workflows? I'm tearing out what little hair I left. What I'm trying to do seems so simple, yet I'm running into roadblocks at every step. I used to love writing software - it was a very zen-like experience. I would doodle around with small tests, then suddenly I could see almost all of the code structure in my head - and I would launch into it - churning out modules that I would then put together into my application. But now, everything is some sort of stupid GUI wizard, and you have to go into 4 different and seemingly unrelated applications just to get even the simplest code running. I miss the days when all I needed was a good color-coded, language-aware code editor and a makefile!!

Jeez, you bring up Sharepoint and the entire thread dies.

Why are some companies so foolish?? I'm looking for a new audio/web conferencing service for our company. There is one particular company that has what appears to be a very good solution for us. I have used their online "contact me" web form three times over the last 3 weeks and NO ONE has contacted me. Today, I used their online chat client and asked them how I can get a sales rep to contact me. The chat agent's response was to call their 800 number. OK, so then I called their 800 number - and all I got was a voicemail box.

Apparently, they aren't interested in the $12-15K/year we plan on spending for this service... rolleyes.gif

They're probably just a shell company for a patent to an awesome conference software but they don't produce a product, just trolls of society. wink.gif

My current avatar is "Sharing is MADNESS" via http://lovecraftzine.com/ . It was posted on FaceBook and I got permission to use it. It's so dementedly JOYFUL!!! Isn't it?!?!?! :veryevil:

I've finally got up my JJ avatar. The text is still a little hard to read, but at least it broadcasts the month's theme. I've always loved this picture of my cat Maizy for its composition but hated the fact that my bogus camera can't focus to save its life, so the picture is blurry in full size. At avatar size, though, it's not so bad.

I have an old picture of my dog (she was really still just a big puppy) that I may switch in as my avatar. It's also not a perfect focus, but not too bad for me.

Well, that was fun...
