I think he's picking us off a few at a time. You think you're safe, that you've escaped the assault, and then right after submitting a post you notice you've been titled. And all you saw (or thought you saw) out of the corner of your eye was the silhouette of a bird, way up high, gliding away....

He got it the same time I did. And, his is a link. I had forgotten you could even do that, though now I seem to remember having seen it elsewhere on here. I guess any string of text will work, even a hyperlink, as long as it fits inside any size or character number constraints.

If so, I'd like to nominate Currawong's current avatar (Currawong high above in the skies).  Someone mentioned it the other day, and I agree, it is rather striking.  It straddles that line between photo and line art - and is just unbelievably clean and powerful at the same time.
