I feel that these will be my backup IEMs, whenever they arrive lol

My R1s arrived this morning. biggrin.gif

One thing I will say, wow the packaging and accessories are top notch at this price.

So far the Brainwavz R1s are doing well on the sound quality front too. Stereo separation is good, bass is rumbling but not too overpowering. Mids are slightly recessed, this IEM def has a slightly V shaped signature. Which is good for electronic music obviously. Happy so far! biggrin.gif

Funny little headphones. On my Sony Xperia phone i couldn´t get sound out if i pressed the 3,5mm straight in, if i let out a bit MASSIVE bass hit my ears. Tried these on my pc through Dragonfly dac and the bass just went away.

I have absolutely no idea how to put these on my ears comfortably, weird profile and too stiff cord for my liking. Happily these were really cheap when ordered in bundle with headphone stand. I think i´ll pass these blink.gif

edit. Ok, got finally decent sound out of pc but seems to be picky of listeners ears, mine seem to be uncompatible with these. I still can´t get stereo sound out of phone, odd.
