It's worth the eargasm, use it up until you hit that old age where you'll be hearing that narrow 4k-10khz

LOL fuuu! My wallet just blew up! :P

Anyways, yeah I forgot to mention, my hearing is great! I shoot guns alot, but ALWAYS use hearing protection, and man it's crazy.. If our tv is left on, but nothing else (Black screen), I can hear the frequency or whatever anywhere in the house, and NOBODY else in my family can. Even with a fan and a/c on, I can hear electronic frequency's thru the fans, etc.

But anyways, getting new TripleFi10's I guess :P

Going to Vegas on the 15th, so I can surely put them to good use then.

Also will they require "burning in"?

Hey, I'm out for the night, I'll check back tomorrow.

Scratch that I'm staying up.

I personally believe in burn-in, so, I'd say yes (leave them on overnight, until your trip, 100 hours is enough) *puts on flame suit*

I don't have tons of experience with owning IEMs. I feel like some full sized headphones MAY change very slightly over the first day or two that you use them, but I feel the difference (If it's physical rather than psychological) is totally over hyped...IMO anyway.

Just enjoy whatever you get, and don't worry about breaking them in!!! smily_headphones1.gif

Hope you enjoy dat tf10

besides were probably around the same age assuming that"91" is your birthyear thats the same birthyear as me. That hearing will lead us to our 40s and then we won't be able to hear our mothers or wives' yelling at us. (could be a good thing) :p

These use BA's not dynamic drivers so iems don't benefit as much from "burn in" as dynamics.

It's just a hype imo, but whatever makes you feel better makes the music sound better I'd guess.

To OP - Don't be surprised when you listen to iems alone in the dark and wondering why they sound millions of times better than during the day or outside.

Dat black background does quite a lot to your sound.

Oh, and if you think the bass is overwelming, get these, they are super comfy, and help isolate (make sure to get the t or tx-500's) http://www.amazon.com/Comply-T-500-Foam-Black-Pairs/dp/B002DY92UA/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1349672146&sr=1-3&keywords=comply+t500

I did everything I could, it's not that they didn't fit they were just to the point where they got uncomfortable to me and I had to take them out like every 10 minutes to scratch my ear.

Oh, that happened to me while using the biggest tips for my IEMs that came with my phone (before I knew about Head-fi, and I didn't even how to put them in!)
