haha then you are gonna have to wait another couple of weeks in order to make them shine with burn-in.

The wait is worth it and I will be receiving my vsonic uu2 earbuds and hisoundaudio p-aa1s iem tomorrow , gonna let you guys know how they sound. And for the gr02 vs. gr07 BE the gr07 BE is the true upgade for it, I say just wait abit and save up for them for they are special. As for burn in I don't dought that they will stop getting better, I know for sure they will still be improving with more use . smily_headphones1.gif

Hi

I posted this question in Future Sonics Atrio MG7 thread but no answer yet.

Could anyone compare Future Sonics Atrio MG7 and Vsonic GR07 Bass Edition ?

Because I'd like to buy one of them and hesitate. Third option is Monster Turbine Pro (Gold/Copper/Miles Davis).

Thanks

Marcin

The GR07 BE handily outperform the MG7 and Turbine in virtually every way. Buy the BE and never look back.

Let's be slightly more specific.

The MG7 has nice, deep bass. However, it is severly lacking in the mids and treble. I think the reason for this is the fact that its driver is about the same size as the GR07's. However, the designers saw fit to use a nozzle that's as small as the Westone/Shure/Etys. So, in effect the bandwidth is strangled, and it clearly shows up in the sound.

MG7 has more and deeper bass, but the GR07 has better bass. It's quicker, more detailed, controlled, and has better texturing.

^ Would you'll agree that the bass on these gr 07 BEs are deeply textured and throaty, but there is this speed and explosiveness to it as well. I find this pretty fitting in how i would describe the bass of these.

I own a brainwavz m2 and a vsonic gr02 BE, with both I am pleased (with the m2 VERY pleased).
I enjoy listening to the m2 and I want an iem that is an upgrade to them. What I like with the m2 is that it has GREAT bass (with a good rumble) which adds to the overall full and fun presentation, the mids and vocals are good and the highs are calm and not too bright that matches my likings (IMO less harsh and sibilant than the gr02 BE), but the soundstage is not that big and the seperation could have been better (I am a beginer and I may be wrong with the terminology).
I mainly listen to vocal trance, a little bit of metal (iron maiden, rammstein, etc) and some vocal pop songs. The overall experience should be fun and exciting (not dry or analytical). I may not be a total basshead but the bass is important, in it's depth, quality and quantity.
My budget is ~140 USD. I searched the forums (reviews and multi-iem reviews) and found these iems interesting: gr07 BE (good reviews but a bit expensive), ATH-CKS77 (may be too bass centered), Dunu DN-19 Tai Chi (good but the gr07 BE are better).

I am short on budget, I bought the m2 for 45$ and the gr02 BE for 35$, so I take the selection of my next iem more seriously than before.

So...   Do you think that the gr07 BE will match my tastes and I should get them or there is a different iem that will suit me better?
Thanks!

I started with the m2's (well, techincally the proalphas). enjoyed them so much I bought as gifts for friends who were into beats iems and "converted" them.

these BE's will make the m2's sound like straight up S**T (pardon my french). not exaggerating either.
As good as they m2's were, you'll realize the m2's belong in the cheapo category for a reason.

and please.
