As per PM, I'm pretty sure that you won't have to pay any additional fees.

And pairing both the ad900x's and the gr07be's with the E12 (version 1) works very nicely as well, because the E12 version 1 bass boost affects mainly just the sub-bass region (but in a subtle way), which essentially just refines and textures the bass a bit more.

Yup... if anyone ever tells you that the GR07 doesn't sound great off of the Fiio E12, you can tell them that their opinion means dirt! Sounds fantastic.

I have migrated to using the using the white (or is it really light blue) non-hybrid tips. Get a great seal, lovely bass response, slightly toned down treble, and a great overall full sound.

Also, I have started using the ear guides and really am enjoying them - keeps everything comfortably in place (even if there are minor tugs on the cable).

And not that anyone cares, but I probably have 40-50 hours of loud bass n drums burn-in accomplished so far (that's not including listening time).

Thanks smily_headphones1.gif only thing is,I'm not sure whether to pic the mkii or bass edition :$ I listen to electronic exclusively (electro, happy hardcore, trance, hard style, dub step).i like tight, prominent bass, not over powering, but, prominent.I also like airy sparkly highs, but no sibilance. If anyone can provide any feedback,it would be greatly appreciated.

PS.i have an mh1c and I'm for the same quantity of bass, but tighter.Brighter highs would be great too smily_headphones1.gif

I happen to have both the MH1C, Bass edition, and MKII right here. I can say that the BE is probably the upgrade to the MH1C that you want. In fact, the MH1C could be the baby GR07 BE that you can throw in your gym bag.

And regarding the BE (or MKII for that matter) an added bonus is that they have a cable that won't make you want to punch anything lol

Oh yourite! Every now and then I try them out because sfwalcer or atomikn00b or whomever goes on, waxing eloquent about them, and I do indeed realize how good they are. But it doesn't take long for the drivers to pop out of my ear, or the mic to start bugging the back of my ear, or the microphonics to start bugging me, and then suddenly POP.... hole in wall lol!

Atomikn00b seems to be very generous with his gr07be's. Hey Eke, just fire them over to sfwalcer - Atomik won't mind! very_evil_smiley.gif

Not a chance! I'm switching between the BE, MKII, and my new HD600. I'll be enjoying this until I have to send the BE back to atomik
