you can fix it on your own if you have soldering stick and lead/flux....the 3.5mm jack can be bought from ebay,radioshack from a dollar or two to little higher prices depending on the quality/brand......

Yes I know, if i had a soldering iron and lead, which I do not, nor do I know how to, but that would be easy to figure out.

I've soldered before, but as a kid. I should be able to pick up pretty easily, nah BTG cost a lot more than an iron and some lead :P. I'll figure it out. Using some me electronics a161p in their place which although soundwise are different and worse overall, are much more comfortable to me.

Hi again;

Is there anyone to compare bass edition with classic edition?

If this is a bit bass oriented? Sometimes mid-bass is collapse to sound stage?

and I have another question with this information, probably X3 combo with GR07BE is too dark for jazz,acoustic music?

It has slightly more subbass and more microdetails 😃

I don't find my 07BE overly dark with the X3. My biggest complaint would be that with closely miked singers (Holly Cole fore example) they really spotlight the sssssibilance.

Just got my GR07 Bass Edition, better sound than my Hifiman RE400, just have on problem with them. I'm using the custom foam bud that comes with it and the earphone cable guide. Their cable finish is so tick that the right side keeps opening slightly the cable guide, so it doesn't hold as well in ear, am'I the only one?

I actually had the same issue with the finicky ear guides and the iems not staying in place. I just resorted to using the chin slider as that led to a more secure fit

Same for me, I just stopped using them with the cables guides, its more comfortable this way.

I prefer these Over-the-Ear gable guides a lot by the way, their smaller & softer, you'll appreciate them if you wear glasses (http://www.meelec.com/MEElectronics_Over_the_Ear_Cable_Guides_p/ep-cableguide-bk.htm)

Funny that you have mentioned it. Mine has broken too. Currently getting the cables replaced by BTG Audio. Will post pictures when I receive it this month with a follow-up review on the cables.

Oh, sorry to hear that it broke, but excited to see how it turns out.
