Looking at these, but was wondering if they are small. I had a problem with the RE262 barely fitting my ears with small tips. Hopefully these are better?

Build quality and fit will likely be better in this case - the nozzle is smaller and adjustable so you can easily get a good fit even with smaller ear canals.  If you are OK with over the ear cable wear (better, more comfortable and less microphonic IMO) then these are good for that.  GR07 might have slightly larger housing comparatively, but it's non-obtrusive and fits very flush in the ear as it's still pretty small.  Unless your ears are very tiny, you should be OK.

Just wanted to say that my GR07 BEs sound a lot like my TH600s. Extended treble, slightly recessed mids and quite hard hitting bass that extends as low as the music will show

Oh and both have a very lively, energetic sound

Hey guys, got my Gr07BE yesterday, the sound was very rough at the beginning and now after just a few hours of burn in, I love it.. i wonder how can it get better after 200 hours ..

Just one problem I can't seem to find the right fit and the best tips for me.

I assume I have none symmetrical ears since I have found 4 tips that fits my right ear just fine with a proper sealing , but for the left ear I just can't find the right fit, the only one that work for the left ear is the yellow one and I do get a proper seal but only if I push it in really hard and then its just painful, annoying and it sometimes just pop out again.

I have tried all the tips included in the box, can't fit anything bigger than those yellow ones and anything smaller just don't give me any propel seal for a good bass..

I had a feeling that I just don't know how to put them on but I do the same for the right ear and its fit like a glove easily and comfy also tried messing with the angle, doesn't help.

and just one more thing that bugs me is that from all the tips in this entire box the one with the ugliest color fits my ear the most but that is really minor issue right now :)

I really wanna solve this issue without having to buy 3rd party tips since I can never know what I really need.

Any suggestions?

Did you try the foams? You could also use different size tips on each ear. Bonus is it'll be easy to tell right from left
post #1836 of 2272

Yeah I have tried them all including the foam its easy to insert but no proper seal.

I have no problem using different tips for each ear though I need to find the one that fits my left ear first :\

Its like I need something between the yellow and the orange size wise.. which is weird since there is not much difference between them.

Try tips from a different set of phones?

Your gr07 came with foams?

Yeah one pair
Mine only came with those color coded tips, 3 black tips and a double flange tip.....no foams. Should I ask about them from the seller or does different package come with different tips/foams?
Yeah one grey coloured one. I make my own tips now. I pulled the plastic core out of those foams that came with the GR07 to extend the nozzle then made my own tips out of Moldex Spark Plugs and pushed it over the extended nozzle

Gives deeper insertion

Besides the color coded ones you got 5 tips/foams, right?

the first 3 are with sponge inside, double flange, regular black, and really small black and in the bag are the foams
