Also on Joker's review thread, on the page I linked, he compares the EPH-100 to the GR07BE in relation to the MH1C. It is post #11167.

Joker even adds the RBH EP1 (http://rbhsound.com/ep1.php) for $150 as a possible option.

If you are sensitive to sibilance, maybe the EPH-100 is your choice.

On a side note, TheWirecutter.com ( http://thewirecutter.com/leaderboard/headphones/) named the RBH EP2 (play/pause/call button and mic being the only difference to the EP1 $180) as their choice for IEM under $200.

Their knock on the GR07 (Mk1 ?) is breakage issue and instructions only in Chinese.

Anyone know the weakest part of the GR07 I/II/BE? I would assume the articulating nozzle.

Interesting, I must have missed that considering his thread is massive tongue.gif

I agree, the only potential weak points I can think of on the GR07 would be if the nozzle started to become loose.  There have been a few users that have reported that one nozzle is a bit looser than the other, but not enough to not hold it's position.  Other than that, it is built like a tank and has the best cable I've seen on an IEM (so far)

thanks

Not sure if anyone else has this issue, but I find that the left ear is far more comfortable than the right. I have not had this issue with other IEMs. (Not blaming the IEM, just curious if this is common or not for people)

I have this too (it's opposite of you, the right fits better and the left takes some adjusting to get comfortable), but I'm fairly certain it's my ear canals as it happens with my RE-400 as well.  If you use foam tips though, it seems a bit less noticeable...but I still prefer silicone tips personally.  I find the genuine Sony hybrids work the best with these in terms of comfort and fit.

Maybe the KEF M200's, but i have never heard them and people have reported some fit issues. Seems like they are pretty amazing from all the impressions so far. If you want the gr07 BEs on steroids you might want to check out the ATH CKS1000s, they are an amazingly funalytical set of iems that's for sure.

No there isn't. I was walking home from the station just now and put on some progressive house flacs, it almost got me to dance home. Can't see how you beat them for the price. Mine are sounding better every day now that I've got over 100 hours on them
