M-100 have enough room inside earpads for my ears if positioned vertically but since i need to have them slightly forward for best seal fit and comfort, as I do with D7000/600, there is not enough room for this position cause shape and size of earpad  that's why I have comfort issue

The H/K's don't like big heads. Even fully extended, they didn't really...fit me. frown.gif

This poll died in the moment when it should be more alive.

 

The M-100 started shipping a while ago, and so far we have only one review. Same goes for U6000.

 

Let's get some more impressions in here.

However, the AKG K267, the Audio Technica ATH-WS99, the Velodyne vTrue, and the YAMAHA Pro Series have all not launched. Until we have confirmation that orders for those are shipping, I will not put the poll back up.

 

This is so we don't go encouraging people to vote for headphones they - and others -  have not heard.

well, I  know you won't update first post ...

but it seems that the monster "diamond tears" have a decent sound quality, which is new from monster.

I've read that the M-100 earpads are not comfortable for everybody, particularly their depth and height. Can we get some confirmation in here?

 

If possible, provide size comparisons to other models. I'd like a comparison to Denon AH-D1100, which I own.

The main problem people are having is depth. With all other headphones I've used, the cup has circled my ear, and not touched it. With the M-100 however, the very top of my ear presses against the felt used to protect the driver cover.

I'm not sure how your ears fit in it, but the current M-100 pads are just right for me. However, I have to wiggle the M-100 when I put it on my head so that my ear is fully inside of the earpad hole. It takes me a few seconds to get my ears completely in there.

Also, just wanted to let you know that B&H photo and video have the AKG K267 priced at $350, but it's obviously not available for purchase.

I have to ask, is the earpad mesh of the M-100 really uncomfortable? I'm afraid that would be a dealbraker for me. I use my headphones for hours.

 

I know that the Denon D1100 don't get much love around here, but they're so comfortable that I forget I have them on, even after listening for over an hour. I've become spoiled that way and will settle for nothing less.
