I am trying to get a decent price on these in mint condition as I am really intrigued -- anyone have some advice on where to acquire one in mint condition other than new?  The list prices for new are all 1400 to 2000.

It might be difficult to find someone willing to sell them, but I think the for-sale section on this forum is your best chance.

Yeah -- I have looked -- some are not quite in mint condition.

Now how did you get that shine? Please elaborate smily_headphones1.gif

Nothing except giving the cups a quick wipe with microfibre cloth every time after using them. Then the shine will take care of itself wink.gif

When I got mine I stared at them in awe for a good 10 min straight before putting them on my head. Then was more in awe when I finally decided to listen to them. smily_headphones1.gif

I'm using them with a Conductor and it sounds fantastic to me, but they're not hard to drive so I think they will sound good paired with most amps :)

They should sound great with your Pioneer - as long you don't need a pitch black background. These guys are very sensitive and the HP out on your receiver packs a punch (relatively).

I'm getting mine in another two more weeks. Can't wait! ;D
