Maybe it got shuffled into spam or junk or something. I have that happen from time to time. Esp. if they have a banner or picture in their response or signature. That usually ticks off the spam filter. Maybe they just didn't reply also cool.gif

Usually sales don't care. The person who designed it or programmed it might like your feedback

Why don't use the AK100 as a transport and use optical cable to connect it to your home processor?

I thought the DAC used on the AK100 is good so think it's better this way.

DAC is a DAC but the output stage is the key to great sound.  I used to have the ibasso DX100 and its lineout is only good and not great.  I have much better sound connecting it to my Sony STR-DA900ES digital input.

Moi don't have external dac, maybe l tried out first as AK100 is using Wolfson WM8740 24-bit DAC. smily_headphones1.gif

Hi Vinnie, Glad to see you are monitoring this thread!

Just an hour ago, I experienced the same problem here with my RWAK100 and emailed you with additional information.

I'll try to run the battery down to avoid having to ship the unit back to you, and shall monitor this thread to see if you come up with anything.

Thanks & Bummed as well.

Ken

two bricked units with the exact same symptoms within a couple days...eek.gif

Getting nervous now. Just received my RWAK100 last week. So far no problems. Keep us updated if Vinnie is able to to find a solution.

Finally was able to drain the battery to see if that would fix it- no luck.  Off to Vinnie's.

I can't see how the 22ohm resistor bypass, since it is in the output discrete circuit would cause any of this. Some sort of strange current draw affecting the rest of the circuit, a change to the ground? I don't know Vinnie but I am sure he will figure it out.
