Do you mean other than the leather case in post # 2012?

Also trying to find a reasonable way to get my hands on the case. Ordered a monster turbine case for $6 from someone off ebay that will tide me over until I can more easily get the leather one here in the US.

Spoke too soon:

Yes, that one. eBay is selling 69 with slow shipping...

I am planning to get fitear 111s which is special made for AK100. So it will cost tons of money...

For USD 69.00, but the leather case still can't protect the screen ... blink.gif

How about a DIY Case? [Try to finish it Early Feb in the factory workshop]

I am going to use scrapped aluminum block,

will soon mill, drill, tap to make my own Armor for my AK100.

Features:

1. Full Aluminum Body with Surface Hardness Anodizing Black

2. Space for Cushioning Material (2-5mm)

3. Front Flip Cover

4. Slot with Door for SD card change / Charging.

Btw,

I would suggest to use a Pouch rather than the Leather case,

Coz it is expansive, not shock proof, no screen protection and also not water proof (from raining)

I am using below pouch (even can insert my Pico Slim / iBasso T5 amp in it)

Tamrac MXS5368 BLACK SAS Memory Battery Wallet 4 - Black

This quite a nice pouch, with belt clip, Multi purpose.

I'll use my otterbox if I need that much protection :)

The pelican i1050 also works, with a earphone port on the case body, originally designed for iPod or iPhone

I'm a little baffled, what kind of screen protection are you looking for since the AK100 is a touch screen? If there's any fault in the Dignis case, it's the top which requires protection.

Anyway, nice aluminium case design. May want to have a protector for that case ;-).

I downloaded some of my lossless itunes directly into the AK-100. The sound is thin and a little bright. Does anyone else hear this as well. The 24/192 are obviously much better. I am not crazy about this since I want to be able to listen to my itunes. Maybe I need to convert the i tunes to FLAC I don't know.

You'll need someone in Japan to order for you. Fitear makes only 5 per month :-

I don't think this will work via the global Rakuten/Tenso method but you could try. If not you could see if Musica Acoustics is willing to order for you.

I saw this site already. Do you think Pricejapan will do that too?

You'll have to ask them as I don't know. As you can guess, I don't need to use PriceJapan. I hear the chap who runs it is quite friendly though in helping you where he can.
