Also trying to find a reasonable way to get my hands on the case. Ordered a monster turbine case for $6 from someone off ebay that will tide me over until I can more easily get the leather one here in the US.

How about a DIY Case? [Try to finish it Early Feb in the factory workshop]

I am going to use scrapped aluminum block,

will soon mill, drill, tap to make my own Armor for my AK100.

Features:

1. Full Aluminum Body with Surface Hardness Anodizing Black

2. Space for Cushioning Material (2-5mm)

3. Front Flip Cover

4. Slot with Door for SD card change / Charging.

Btw,

I would suggest to use a Pouch rather than the Leather case,

Coz it is expansive, not shock proof, no screen protection and also not water proof (from raining)

I am using below pouch (even can insert my Pico Slim / iBasso T5 amp in it)

I'm a little baffled, what kind of screen protection are you looking for since the AK100 is a touch screen? If there's any fault in the Dignis case, it's the top which requires protection.

Anyway, nice aluminium case design. May want to have a protector for that case ;-).

I downloaded some of my lossless itunes directly into the AK-100. The sound is thin and a little bright. Does anyone else hear this as well. The 24/192 are obviously much better. I am not crazy about this since I want to be able to listen to my itunes. Maybe I need to convert the i tunes to FLAC I don't know.

What headphones are you using?

Any one here is using fitear 111is? The one specially made for AK100?
