My RWAK100 was last seen at New York on the 30th Dec. been 2 days now. I'm not sure if USPS has cargo planes flying direct from New York to Singapore since my past orders were always last sighted at San Francisco before coming to Asia.

I really hope that its not stuck in transit at New York thanks to the New Year, screwing up my new purchase arrival schedule.

Well sorry to burst your bubble UElover lol. When my Studio V 3rd ANV was  shipped from Singapore it took 3 weeks to get to me! Not saying this will be the case for you. But it sat in Singapore shipping facility for like a week and a half. Then all of a sudden ends up in New York were it also sat for a week! I was not happy at all to say the least....

It depends on what type of postal class you paid for. USPS Express typically arrives over here in a week. USPS First Class, ahem, I guess we all know.

Yeah generally EMS is pretty good. It actually reached me from China in 3 days ;). That is because they skipped the Mainland USA. Our local postal service is much more efficient than the mainland branches.
 

woops in the excitement i forgot it was new years eve lol. anyway hope everyone had a good new years eve. I got the RWAK100. 

Ahh let use know how it sounds in comparison to your 801! The RWA sounds promising and I hope it sure is at that! :)

Does anybody know were I can get the AK100 with the 22Ohm mod from ? 

After some listening between my HM-801 and RWAK100 I can the RWAK100 has a much more wider dynamic range, the black is very excellent in comparison. The sound of the RWAK100 is quite digital sounding to me but this is comparison to the HM-801. So I used my JH13 and I can say that I dont hear the issues with stock unit that some people have described. stay tuned im doing more listening and i will use my Beta 22 as a comparison since most people regard it as a neutral amp. Since I do not have a DX100 its hard to compare the RWAK100 to its closer competitor. the HM-801 so far is technically less advanced but still enjoyable in a more mellow way.

 

So far the detail as well as the dynamics im getting on the RWAK100 is considerably greater that my HM-801, and just seems im getting more performance out of my JH13. Im going to also try my HP1000, HD800 & HE500 with it as well to see how well it drives them, I am anticipating the RWAK100 can drive most of these full sized to decent listening levels but to be at the upper volume limits on the RWAK100 from what vinnie has told me. That said this is likely a weak point comapred to the DX100 but not so bad for me if it can at least do a decent job even if i have to turn it up a bit.

Thank you very much Ivan for the preliminary impressions. I'm a little afraid of the "digital" sound now though. Guess I'll find out when mine arrives - think it'll have to go through an honorific 48 hr burn-in at least. I should be able to provide the RWAK100 vs DX100 comparison but it may take me some time.

I went to track my shipment from RWA and shows shows no movement. Like Vinnie hasn't even taken the package in yet. Anyone else have shipping updates?
