Help, Sol Republic Amps HD

after searching through, i have not been able to find a good review on Amps HD. Can anyone help me answering some questions i have.

-I know is it Bass heavy, but how much?

-Are the mids really recessed?

-Comparabe to Beats Tours?

-How do they compare against the Sol Republic Amps?

-Any other suggestions instead of them under $50?

Recently I just watch a review of these from my country headphone dealers. Not sure how accurate this it but seems like these are just great for hip hop rap dub step etc. besides those genre they are pretty much not suitable because of not good mids and high.

Can you send me a link to the review if it is online?  Did they compare to Beats or other bass heavy headphone?

I currently own one.. If you're using an idevice, and has the ios..download an eq app from the app store..it does really make my track HD's shine..it is now clearer and fuller..the soundstage did improve as well..

theres barely any reviews, and those that are there aren't even professional reviews

im picking these up tomorrow and going to find out for myself
