I normally have the Audioengine A2 speakers by the monitor here on, and twice tonight I got completely confused  trying to find the music player on the computer to turn down the volume, couldn't find out which desktop the Rhythmbox player was on.

Turns out nothing was playing on the computer...

I am wearing these H-100 and playing them out of the Cowon while sitting here.redface.gif

 

 Guess that's a good sign, sure a strange disorientating experience hahah ( hangs head in shame and slowly exits )

 

 

did anyone figure out the prices for the B-100( single BA )  or D-100 ( dynamic ) models ?

What EQ settings for H-100 have you settled on with your D2 Nick?

Flat EQ itself but the 2 BBE settings you mentioned before.

BBE=3

MachBass=2 .  no need it seems for MachBass

 

Will toy around by bumping up some mids a db or two not much and check back in later on after seeing if they sit well.

 

hmm wth I just saw a setting below the bandwidths that said initialize wide bandwidth

 

eq > user > eq filter > scroll down and it says Band 2/3/4 Wide Bandwidth on/off

 

can turn ON only the 2/3/4 listed .

  then below all of that it says Intialize EQ Band  which turns OFF all of the Wide Bandwidth settings if they are ON

 

What the heck is all this hahaha never seen it before after all this time.

 

Cowon forums it is.Looks like I can rockbox this up.

A few years too late on looking into this haha, simplcity is best ( c'mon C3 )

 

 

Found it

initialize: resets the equalizer (helpful if you forgot which the "normal frequencies" were)

wide bandwith: the frequencies right next to the frequency you change, will also be changed a little bit, it will look more like a mountain than a needle ( guess this makes sense -n)

That +2 Mach3bass shows off sub-bass well. I feel anymore BBE then +3 and there's actually to much clarity with these. Oveflows the bathtub. tongue.gif

Wait until you receive your C3, the separation is really cool.

Zzzz... Mine has been in the sock drawer for almost 3 days now but I'm trying to resist listening to them until it has reached 200 hours :)

Dude......you need to listen to them, do the other hours later. You're like putente and the whole 'ritual' thing. I don't know how you guy's do it. Usually when I get a new IEM I've been waiting for a week or two already just for them to arrive, let alone get the IEM in my hands then say....Hmm no, I think I'll wait till they burn in! Madness, Plus I like to hear the changes if any along the way.

enjoy the ride in other words, not the destination.

Careful not to open and close that drawer by mistake if they are hanging out or it'll all be in vain.

Don't know how you can wait honestlyconfused.gif

 

You know if everyone keeps buying the KG model they'll have a surplus of the others which they might have to discount later on. Peeeerfect.

I don't mean to be blunt about it, but I just couldn't do it, no way. I don't have the patience personally.

KG model is by far the better looking of the others IMO, I'm not really a fan of the others models (yes even me) I came ever so close to the red cable but backed away. tongue.gif

Clear would have been a good option on the cabling.

Sort of like the Aquamarine(?) coloured model myself.

I don't mind the Aquamarine(?) coloured model at all.

If the aqua model came in a small circle option (like KG) I would of chosen those, like KG design but aqua instead of gold. I really like the metal housings too, the pics don't do them full justice, they look pretty fashionable when worn. The only thing that may be ,missing from the accessories is a shirt clip.

did you try plugging the almost microscopically tiny rear vent with your finger yet ? Sure is small but plugging it= noticably less spacy, will have to be careful not to let anything block that from a pocket etc. Let me know what you think.

I just came from a long session with my fi10s as i got chris himself used cables from another head-fier. and what wrong timing it was that it arrived yesterday after 1 1/2 month of waiting.confused_face.gif i had them the whole day and OMG paired with the fi10s they are amazing. im listening to details i have never heard before with those cables. as such, i don't wanna ruin the initial impression on the H-100s. hehe
