GR07 BE is one IEM I haven't heard, but going from the GR07 MK2 the Dunu leans cooler in tonality, crisper, cleaner, (closer to H-100) tonality over GR07 which is warmer. It just has better detail and technical ability then GR07, like instrument separation and soundstage width, it's not to messed with at the $200 price tag.

To give you a better idea ...Since H-200 came out most of us agreed the T-Peos H-200 Hybrid is a step above GR07 MK2, and now... most of us who have/heard DN-1000 are rating it above H-200. So that puts things into perspective for you.

My friend did a review on the Dunu recently. He's a good little reviewer is our Lin.

H20Fidelity,

Thanks for that.

I actually like the warm presentation of the GR07 more than the more 'technical' H100. If DN1000 is closer to H100 then I think I would still prefer the GR07. Probably 'technical' is not my cup of tea.:o

No, no no. Stick with the Dunu. H-100 is a complete downgrade you won't need it with the DN-1000 in your lap.

Dunu is abt USD80 more than the H100RR on a serious note.

Yes, and about 200% better. If there's one thing I learnt in this hobby, better to pay once and be happy. $80 more is a small price to pay for much more superior sound. Trust me you don't want H-100 for female vocals,

It's USD210. I'll give it a try. Reckon the JVC FXD80 or Yamaha eph1000 are worthy contenders? I made a thread trying to narrow down those mentioned IEM's :P

Really appreciate your feedback. Cheers.

Well just want to let you know the H-100J will be coming out today. It has different drivers from the previous H-100. Will be posting a review as soon as I get them and give them a listen.

The Yamaha are decent, rather liquid vocals, but for that kind of money I'd be researching Vsonic VC1000 for your vocals and piano reproduction, the VC1000 is also excellent.

I just got my T-PEOS H100RR about 3 weeks ago and have about 50-60 hours on them. They were a little harsh sounding at first but have really mellowed out some. I'm not a big believer of burn in though it does seem to be the case with these IEMs. They are similar to my Rocket R-50s and lack the warmth of my W3s but over all I'm pretty happy with them and are one of my favorite sets. I listen to mostly rock of all kinds from pop to thrash metal and of course blues. They also sound good with ambient relaxation music. I can listen to them for hours with no fatigue. The only problem I can foresee is finding replacement tips because the nozzle is 6mm wide and has a lip. I may have to get them from Shinwoo unless anyone has found a replacement tip that will work. I like triple flange but the foam work just fine. I just haven't seen anything out there for replacements.

the Sony Hybrid tips fit fine for H-100
