I had mine show them sitting in Customs  for a day or two, maybe because it was from Korea, maybe because they  look like bullets in the scanner ( didn't appear to have been opened for me )

( Who uses that much metal for earbuds, they're supposed to be all plastic tongue.gif )

 

I would say it is simply a procedural thing, check of your entire personal history ( joking ) and the time of year.  Mine took i think 2 days maybe in customs.  I know it's a frustrating thing.

 

That was here to Canada though.

Could you please keep us up to date on H-200 please,as you find out anymore.

I know we're looking at January, is there any chance you could find out when roughly H-200 will become available us to purchase? Will it be early in the month or towards the end?

Any info to tide us over would be great!

For what it's worth:

 

I have gone back to the stock tips from the foams, currently enjoying the large blue foam backed ones. Over ears, and I added a clip from a mobile phone below the silver tube splitter point so all the weight is off the separate cables and no problems with cable microphonics of any kind, also less strain and there's no pull on the earpieces with this setup, the stock tips stay put nicely.

 

Tempted to get some of the Phonak silicone over/behind the ear cable-guides to try out, if i can just find where I posted about those in here. Yikes.

 

oooh found them locally even cheaper at Headphonebar not far from here

Dear H20...

I was little busy for my vacation for the end of year.

In South Korea, The end of year - has difficult issues. SWT maybe also.

So I think it is not easy to gathering information.

Take a patient for a while, until next year.

And remember this.

In South Korea, new president is not a democratic side.

Many people lost their soul (me? also) in election by the make a queen.

People, please understand - many South Koreans in a dilemma like me.

It's not so easy to break this for a while...

Just started trying that out but not enough time to form any definite impressions, except that these H-100 sure do respond well to some additional power.

This is the C3/ Pa2V2 combo.

I will get to trying the C3/ E5 combo when I can.

I tried for a day, then something happened to my PA2V2, it developed some kind of a high pitched noise/distortion, so I figured that it went faulty, but for what I remembered, it is not as good as E11 - PA2V2, unlike E11, doesn't rid of the hollowness and shrill

Send it back to Gary it has a no question lifetime warranty far as i know.

 

I am actually getting different results than that with it . I'll update that a little later on down the road after I get comfortable with it.

I had a new DAP arrive today for H-100, Hifiman HM-601.




I've gone a little source crazy these past few weeks. I'd tell you how it sounds but I only listened for 20 minutes (waiting on the battery to charge) I was pretty impressed, especially from the fixed line out. I also have a new amp coming soon C&C BH Portable Amp which is being preffered by members over FiiO E11 and CmoyBB. 300mw + 300mw and 80 hours from a single charge. I'll be using this amp with Colorfly CK4+ and HM-601 line out features in coming weeks and will report my findings.

And of course still loving my H-100 dearly. It's lots of fun mucking around with different sources, tips, and amps!

Haha. I saw the E12 promotion, I could of jumped in, but decided I'll wait on a few trial people to bring in reviews. I was in the promotion thread that night with spots open though leaned towards the C&C BH. FiiO is almost bordering mainstream anyway these days. We can't have that!! tongue_smile.gif

Until now, FiiO has always made products that perform well above it's pricetag, and that's what made me jump straight into the E12 pre-order. We'll see if you made the right decision or not! biggrin.gif

Do you know more about that amp you bought, like what opamps are used in the power stage and buffer? And what are those "LF" and "SF" switches at the back? popcorn.gif
