YouTube-can't see videos with IE but can with Chrome

The Title says it all. This started yesterday, I haven't changed anything on purpose and can't find a fix. Anyone have an Idea? I'm running IE8 in XP.

chrome has flash plugin intergrated in the browser, so it's separate from other flash installation. Try reinstalling adobe flash.

Thanks for the reply. I reinstalled Adobe Flash but unfortunately that didn't fix the problem.

I found the problem. Recently I had to rebuild my C: drive from the operating system up and I'd failed to reload the the video driver specific to my video card, I was running a generic driver that worked OK b ut obviously wasn't doing a complete job. Loading the correct driver fixed the error.
