Will a M/F Extension Cable effect the sound quality on my Sennheiser HD25 II/Xonar DG?

My headphone port is located on the back of my computer and the cord on my headphones is way to short, would something like this: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021808&p_id=649&seq=1&format=2

Give any deterioration in sound? I just want to make sure before I order it and get possibly disappointed.

12 ft is quite long, but the only impact on sound would come from the cable being in a very electrically noisy environment (not common in the home), and/or if the soundcard has a very high output impedance already (it probably doesn't). You'll be fine.

So it will probably be fine I guess? Thats good to know, yeah it is pretty long but I want it to reach my bed also which is quite a bit away so I am going off that a bit also, just wanted to make sure before I ordered, thanks for the input.

i would say no. i use the ath-m50 and ath-ad700 with the PCIe version of that card, the xonar dgx, and they both have 10 foot cables, but when i installed the shorter cable on my m50 (removable cable mod) the sq had no considerable change. as long as the cable doesn't go too near the power supply orVRM components on the motherboard, there should be no detriment to the sound quality.
