Sound-wise?  In a nutshell, it's more v-shaped than an M-80, and the highs roll off sooner.  However the titanium coated drivers make every  exceedingly ssmmmooooooooth.  Also, the SA950 is just about the most sibilant-proof cans I've ever heard... enough to make the HD 650 say DAYAM!
