I'm new here, and if I mess up anything please forgive me.

I'm looking for headphones that look good and have a good bass.

I'm going to be wearing it a lot during school too.

So, let me get this straight:

 

-$70 or less

-Good bass response

-Isolating

-Nice aesthetics

 

I think you might like the Philips CitiScape Uptown. It isolates (well enough with music playing that you probably won't notice most outside sounds, and doesn't leak sound), the bass is pretty good, and it does look quite classy.

 

Most pairs are over the $70 mark now that the sales are over, though...but I can help you with that.

Wow, I just heard the Uptowns a few days ago. They sound really nice for the price. Isolation is decent, as stated above. They seem to be the go-to budget headphones for aesthetics right now. AKG K518s look nice as well, and they're around your budget. Good isolation and sound as well. Both are on the bassier side of the spectrum, relatively speaking, and it's quite good.

Do you have to buy them new, from a retail store?

 

I'm mostly asking since while it's unlikely you'll find one for less than $70 new right now, I could sell you my set. Like new, only been used for a few hours just for review's sake.

come on man take a little initiative, do an Internet search or contact the manufacturer. I'm guessing the next thing you'll ask is if someone could pick them up and drop them off at your house.
