Amp for Denon AH-D600 Music Maniac

Hi,


First post here!

 

Just bought Denon AH-D600 Music Maniac. Looking for an amp/dac to go with these.

 

Will mostly play music from my Macbook Pro

 

All kinds of suggestions are welcome.

 

Open for portable headphone amps as well

I`m confused about DACs and Amps and if I should go with a combo or not.

 

My budget is about $200-500

If you want a good mobile amp a fiio e17 may be all you need. It worked fine when I had one. Another option would be a Matrix Cube.

I think I`m leaning towards Nuforce Icon HD.

 

I`m completely new to headphones, amps an dacs.

 

Please let me know if I`m doing anything stupid in going with this combination.

It seem it has a pretty good liking my some head-fi members so it should be good! I'm waiting for my asgard as we speak... fedex lost it ! haha

Not that I have a lot of amp knowledge.... but  my Schiit Asgard goes really nice with my D600.
