I was listening to my Rotel RCD-855 cd player this weekend and realized how anemic my digital front end was (Mini Mac with lossless). I have to crank down my subwoofer everytime I switch over to the Rotel. So what I need is a DAC that is warm, round and with great bass. Anyone know a Sub$300 Dac that might fit the bill?
