wireless headphones - Senn RS65, RS85, Sony MDR RF975 or another?

Thread Starter
I am looking to buy wireless headphones and am looking at the Sennheiser RS65, Sennheiser RS85 and the Sony MDR RD975. I want a pair of very comfortable headphones with very good sound. Any suggestions? Have any of y'all used these headphones mentioned or found other ones that are better? Thanks.

I've had the Sennheiser RS60s (RS65 is this years model) for over a year now. I like them very much. Comfortable and good sound for a wireless. I rarely experience interference when listening to them.

If you buy a pair, make sure you can return them if they don't work very well in your house. But if you do get interference, try moving the transmitter around first.

I was very unimpressed by the Sennheisers; however, I've had a chance to listen to the Freespan xdream system, and would suggest that you take a look at that one... more to come soon

wireless phones

Have you considered the AKG K105 UHF? What Hi fi said: "By far the best sounding cordless designs we've heard, and the system works a treat." With a 5 star rating, they should be worth a listen.

I had the Senn RS65 for about a week.
Took them back, they were comfotable but
the sound wasn't very good. Sounded like
a cheap fm radio played through an OK set
of phones. Too much noise and static for
me. YMMV
Like others said, make sure you can return
them if they don't work for you.
