Need some headphones under $100 to listen to drum and bass/dubstep/electronic + gaming.

What would you all recommend, also if I could find some used for <$100 that will do.

Right now I have a pair of kilpsch s4i and they are decent for quality but the bass really isn't there.

Denon HP700 would be good for what you want and fit within your budget.

Creative Aurvana Live. Great bass, warm, rich sound, good soundstage for gaming.

+1 Creative Aurvana Live's will do the trick

+1 Creative Aurvana Live aka CAL!

Dt770. Huge soundstage and much more comfotable than the CAL's. Should have all the bass you need.

Technical Pro HPT990 (Takstar Hi2050) semi-open headphones, $45 at J&R.

What source(s) are you plugging the headphones into?

Under $100, I'd love to see where you got them at that price. Also, I doubt OP has an amp, which would make the DT770 sound weak, thin, and sloppy compared to the CAL without one.

Well I bought mine for £120 new so in America it should be much less, especially if it's second hand. A simple $20(?) xonar DG should power it. If it's for gaming the OP will need the soundcard anyway. I use it with my turtlebeach x41 dock which doesn't have an audiophile amp and it sounds great. I've tried the CAL's and personally I wouldn't recommend them for gaming.

Sony MDR-XB700 are great! Got them a few weeks ago and they're killer! Although, they are rather large.....I tend to not wear them in public haha
