Theoretically, you could use the same plastic/magnetic mount of the ear-pads and replace the foam material with something that is circum-aural. Frankly, I haven't heard of anyone successfully doing this, but why not? The biggest failing of the P-series lies with the needlessly sound altering foam B&W uses, IMO. swapping that foam out with small diameter ear-pads, like those on the Pioneer HDJ-2000 or Sennheiser HD25-1 II, could be just the ticket to bringing the P5/P3 closer to true reference sound.
