Third point to adrianclw's list :) :

3) the player does not read wave files correctly - it reads to tag chunk as audio so we have annoying noise between tracks.

I am wondering if I should start installing MediaMonkey in anticipation of the arrival of the N3 ? What system would you fellas suggest ? I would like to do away with iTunes altogether with another system that would automatically transfer my iTunes files.

N3 doesn't support line out as far as I'm aware. You can only amp using it's headphone out. (double amping)

Media Monkey works quite nicely. I have a guide on how to set it up in the DX100 Faq page if you are interested. I have everything setup where I can synch it automatically. Quite a handy feature IMO.
