It should be cleaner sounding and less bassy than the clip+. But the iriver h140, I haven't tested it at all. So I can't give you comparison for that rolleyes.gif.

thx for all the answers Massacare.

about the hifi EQ thing, the volume gets higher only with this one then? or with any change done to the EQ except flat? like a clip+ syndrome, where EQ flat would put everything to -2db.

glad hisound keeps lowering the hiss. one more step in the right direction.

I wonder if the sound quality of this is comparable to hm601.

Personally I liked the sound quality of the Rocoo BA more than the 601 so if it indeed sounds like a Rocoo Ba I think so. But keep in mind this is a subjective thing. Some people love very warm and muddy sound and hate clean and detailed sound.

Yep, the volume gets higher only on the Hi_Fi EQ. Maybe I'll spend sometime for playing with the EQ, let's see how it'll get on custom EQ. On other EQ, the sound goes higher a bit, but still not as high as the Hi_Fi EQ. I think it is almost the same as the clip+ syndrome as you've mentioned.

The BA for me has better sounding than the HM601 (except for the power, on the other side the playtime and sound quality is better than HM601). Keep in mind I like clean ,transient, a bit dark sounding, so it'll be a bit subjective rolleyes.gif.

So is the NOVA still scheduled to be available on the 10th?

Same here, however the only reason I kept the hm-601 is because of its really clean sounding line out. I think the hm-601 lineout is better than its amp section to my ears!

I agree. I mainly used it with its line out when I had it. Still had the rolled off treble though ;).

The production itself is kinda delayed due to unknown reason to mid-december confused_face(1).gif. So yeah it won't be available by the 10th.

There will be 2 nova versions. The N1 and N3. Looks like the unit I received is the N1 (without the microsd slot). The N3 has the microsd slot. And looks like the price will be divided again into a few categories rolleyes.gif.
Let's just wait for further information from hisound rolleyes.gif.
