I've been sifting through the forums for a couple days now (well done, everyone, the site is incredible!), and I've been overwhelmed with all the information.
So, I'm asking for some help (before my head explodes).
- I'm looking for IEMs with iPhone control.  I'd prefer them to have the neck-chain style cord, but a Y cord is not a deal breaker.
- I've been using Sony MDR-EX57LPs for a while and I like the bass, but don't like the harsh treble.  So something with a more-bass-but-still-crisp-treble profile would be ideal.
- I'd prefer the iPhone control to have the volume controls also, but am fine with the 1 button control.
- Lower cost is always a plus, but I can see going up to $200.

Any thoughts or suggestions would greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The Bose SIE2, Harmen Kardon AE, Klipsch Image X10i (highly recommended), B&W C5, Dr.Dre IEMs are good sounding with remote control and punchy bass, clear highs.

ZARIM,

Thank you.  These are some great suggestions!
For the Bose, I don't think I can handle having green or orange headphones.  For the Dre's, again, a little too flashy for me.  The other 3 are tempting.
The AE's look nice.  Have you tried out the B&W C5s?  I'm curious how comfortable the secure loop would be in your ear.  Also, do you know how the X10i compares to their new X7?  Is it worth it to pay the extra to get the X10?

I just got the Etymotic HF3 for my iPhone5. For $90 ebay price (as low as $60 see cowboom) they're great with the classic Ety detailed treble and less bass than some.

I have several other IEM/earbuds including the original Klipsch Image that became the X10i.

My only "complaint" about Etys is that even moreso vs. other IEM you really need a good seal, but find the right tips and you're good.

The Etys are very tempting, I'm kinda worried they're not exactly in the sound profile I'm looking for, but maybe I'm wrong.  I picked up a set of Shure SE's a couple years ago (I'm not sure about the model, I think they were in the 200s), and I found them too be disappointing.  The bass seemed to be completely absent.  Is there a significant drop in bass from the Etys?
(These would be for an iPhone5 also, I'm finally consolidating all of my gadgets)
