Hi everyone, I've been reading a lot of things on this wonderful website for many months now, but this is my first post. If this isn't the right section to post in please tell me, I wasn't sure where else to put it.

 

I currently have a speaker oriented rig at the moment, but would like to add a headphone amp soon. My current setup is: PC(Playing flac files in Foobar2000) -> Dacmagic 100 -> Marantz PM6004 -> Dali Lektor 2 (Speakers) / Grado sr60i and ATH AD700 (Headphones).

 

So my problem is pretty simple. I need some sort of switch with one input and two outputs for when i get a headphone amp.

It would go from the Dacmagic 100 to both the Marantz PM6004 and the headphone amp, and I could easily switch from one to the other without unplugging the RCA cables.

 

I haven't found anything yet that could solve this problem. Does such a switch exist? If so, will it decrease sound quality?

They don't seem to make stock 1 in 2 out RCA switch like you want, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that they will make a custom switch if asked. You could also consider a patch bay.
