New FOTM mod: adding a battery to your speaker amp. Then modding a backpack to carry it around as a "portable" rig.

Joking aside...I'm in. :-)

Did someone mention battery-powered speaker amps?

Get the TBI Millenia MG3!

I heard the MG3 last weekend at the local meet here, using my HE-500 and the owner's LCD-3, but not on battery power.  Seemed like a decent amp...and it's tiny!

Am I right in saying a 3 amp wall plug will suffice for the A100?

I HAVE FIXED THE HISS!!!

I used this diagram which someone kindly posted previously:

Here is me ghetto rigging it:

I used Dale/Vishay wirewound resistors with 10W heat dissipation. I plan to build a box to house these things so it would be more secure and looks better.

Thanks Armaegis for helping me out!

Just out of curiosity, could I potentially use something cheap like:

1/4" TRS to dual mono adapter: LINK

Going to two of these Mono to Banana Plug adapter: LINK

To connect my headphones to the Mini-X? If it does work, is this not a recommended solution?
