Well, it turns out Stax are my drug of choice in this wallet-emptying hobby.  Only seems appropriate to do some fall cleaning.

 

Pictures on demand (to serious buyers) as I'm listing quite a few headphones here.  Prices include shipping but not 3% paypal (if that is how you're paying.)

 

LCD-3 - These are brand new in box.  Sold my last pair, instantly regretted it, re-bought with modding in mind.  Don't have time to mod though and don't want to trouble others to do my work for me, so haven't even opened these up yet, just been sitting in my listening room.  $1750 shipped, not including paypal fees.

 

HE-500 - 2 months old, 9/10 on Audiogon scale, about 50 hours total use.  No nicks or scratches to speak of.  $350 Shipped.

 

HD650 - 6 months use, 8/10 on Audiogon scale, ~100 hours head time.  Pics upon request.  $185 shipped.

 

SR325 - These are brand new in box.  I had a thought to mod these too, as normal Grado sound isn't for me, haven't got around to it.  $225 shipped.  These headphones never go on sale (that I've seen.)  This is the newer 325is model.

 

Amperior - Bought 1 month ago from Apple Store.  9/10.  $300 shipped. Lent Locally

 

T50P - These headphones suck.  Will trade for candy.  Going to try an experiment with these.  All candy transactions on hold.

Regarding some confusion about the terms for the T50P:

 

First, a word about candy - This is to those hucksters out there who've been trying to pull my leg.  I don't want Mars Bars.  I don't want Snickers.  I don't want your high-falutin Lindt or Sharfin-Bergen-Belsen or whatever.  The reason for this is simple.  Chocolate isn't candy.  Oh sure, it contains sugar and comes in the candy aisle, but it is a confection.  I don't know why this is so hard for you guys to wrap your chocolate-addled brains around - perhaps it is because adults that into candy don't tend to be semanticians.  Regardless, You can leave you chocolate-loving attitude at the door because it has no place in my for sale thread.  I want candy.  Like in the song.  Unless the song was a metaphor for something other than candy.  Because I want actual candy.

I would trade you for these TRIPLE duty candies. You can use them as highly fashionable accessories and if you get a craving for deliciousness you can take a bite out of a few beads. And they are stretchy you can be entertained for years with a stretchy string with deliciousness on it. I might even include a half finished box of starburst if you act fast.

185$ HD650?  350$ HE-500?  WOW.  Make prices that epic with the lcd-3 and I'll buy it without batting an eye at how much it will hurt my food bill.  Too bad I didn't check the forums when I woke up this morning

Good god, I would have bought those HD650s in a heartbeat. I almost crapped my pants when I saw that price. Whoever got them is a lucky mofo.
