E17 or E11 (portable need only)

So i am getting senhisier IE80 and Ipod 7th - yet i am not going to need the DAC for PC since i have asus Xonar Phoebus so i only need these for the portable needs so should i go for E17 or E11? and wont the new ipod 7th have a different charging output?

Thanks but will it fit the new generation of the ipods? the new nano one which will be out next week ^^

You will probably need an adaptor so you can connect it with a LOD.

I believe the new lightning connector is digital and not analog.

I don't know if the new ipods are going to support digital out for aftermarket DACs. There are a few threads about the new interface. Maybe some answers there...

btw since i am going to use it only for the IE80 will i even need an AMP?

I've never owned the IE80, but according to their specs they don't look difficult to drive.

I would say no you don't need an amp...
