Please give this feedback to Dr Bian and the Hifiman engineering team, as it's really important that they don't tune this headphone into something worse than how it was before and ruin its building reputation. ALL current reviews of HE400s describe it as dark with slight treble sparkle, but the new revision of HE400s are clearly not that, and are just plain hot in the treble.

Thanks!

Makes me wish that I hadn't sold my r2 version!! I will wait until HFM retunes this driver before I'd consider buying another pair.

Not sure why you sold your pair in the first place, if you knew you might buy one again in the long run?

IHeadphones (terrible, terrible name) don't sell any HIFIman products - http://www.iheadphones.co.uk/

you need a decent dealer in the UK. I think I might start one just so I can buy an 801!

so there is no-one in the UK who appears to sell the 801

No worries, you can easily get one from our official website head-direct.com

I did not know they were rotatable until a guy in head fi pointed it out to me and he told me it took him couple days to figure it out too. Also I feel that it is a bit difficult to change the ear pad on these headphone. Other than that great product! Great headphone!

Next time we will. Thanks for your great question.wink.gif

Hi dear, you don't have to worry about the unnecessary payment such as costom fees because we will label the package as low price as we could.

Plus, we will make a gift label on it. In this way, any extra charges will be easily avoided.

Thanks, please do. I'm hoping there could be another revision change to retune so I (and a few others complaining about the treble with the newest version of HE400) could exchange. Please keep us posted on that!

I'd come back to camp he400 but not with the r3 version. When the sound signature is retuned to r2 I'll buy again but not before.
