ok, so some news/responses to the questions before:

re: price increase. afaik it's already reflected on their site:

lol, It may seem that way, but it's going to worth it in the end, it could of caused some problems. Im still going to loan you mine eventually djvkool. smile.gif Regarding a second US tour that is very interesting, I probably know a few people that would be interested in that.

Update

I have received an update today from Rhapsodio, there has been some demand for the discontinued model which svyr, MrAdrain and myself had on tour. Rhapsodio were happy to tell me they now have that model of RDB available again to the public for purchase. The price is $510 US + $5 shipping, along with improved build quality (same sound) Orders can be done within 3 weeks (for customers to get it after order is placed) if you are ordering the universals.

That's a very attractive price for this kind of sound quality. cool.gif

Was watching this iems for some time and I really want them.

 

If I understand it right, RDB+ V2 on their page is newest version, update on what you guys reviewed, right?

 

Also anyone saw their wood faceplates? I want mine in Dark Orange and I'm deciding between wood and Gold Carbon faceplate.

 

And, how do you think RDB+ V1 compare to similiary priced IEMs and other top models from Westone, UE, Heir?

The only thing which turns me off from buying custom made in universal format is their odd fitting features and the relatively new technology. It seems like when it comes to hybrid IEM the industry is quiet young and they are still trying to figure out a way to perfect things.

 

My only concern is what are my options if the fitting is not to my liking, is there a solution. And more importantly the company age, It would have been great if they could have an official member from their team active in this forum so we get to know the better. 

 

They should send a pair for testing for ljoker.

Correct, we were touring the older version, which can be ordered manually through emails. The model on Rhapsodio's website is the updated model coming to us mid March. I have heard about wooden faceplates though you may want to contact Rhapsodio to confirm they're available.

it was ok with the westone cable with memory wire, pretty meh with the others.(didn't stay in)

afaik the only option is returning them if that's the case, at least for universal versions. talk to rhapsodio . I know for customs there's a free 30d refit.

I have the V2 & heard them occasionally between snowboarding days.

They are compact! Coming from the 1+2 to the RDB v2, I feel more "normal". I still wanna listen to them a little longer before sharing my thoughts on the signature, & have to decide if I wanna keep or ask to swap for the older version.
