Just working on a pair of brushes for electrical motor.You cannot solder,glue or braze on the wires.

We know that JB Weld has no electrical conductivity, so we used ground graphite (most pencil leads have some), to create conductivity. It works like a charm....................

The "original" JB weld has a significant amount of Iron powder in its composition. It is not an insulator at all. 

 

When the Cool thing to do (pun intended) was to JB weld various transistors to heatsinks this poorly understood fact wrecked a lot of projects. 

 

There are other readily available 2 part epoxies with MUCH better (any) electrical insulation properties. 

As the most common example Devcon 2-ton epoxy specifies dielectric strength in its datasheet and is available almost everywhere.
