Upgrade from Fischer audio Fa-011???

I do love these to pieces, Anyone upgraded from them?, I know the hifiman would be an upgrade but the price is ridiculous,

Any suggestions? thanks

Which hifiman headphones are you talking about? Whats your budget? More details would help.

 

I actually had the fa-011 and upgraded to the he400 and later d5000.

What are you looking for on your next pair of headphones? more bass, mids, soundstage? it depends on what you want.

I like there soundsig just wanted something with a bit more sparkle, isn't there any headphones that are a complete upgrade in sound and not just more bass or midrange?

IE80, auditioned them once and it was enough for me to decide to want them in future. 

I am waiting for the GR08 to come out. After that I will make my mind up, but I am sure with IE80 you will be happy.
 

You can find it for around 350 AUD, a little over you current budget.

Sorry to revive this thread but I am in the same situation, looking for a similar sound signature but also more comfort... I can't keep those on my head for more than 2 hours tops.

 

Considering HD600\650 or HE-400. Also read some interesting reviews on the Sony MA900.
