Biggest Portable Rig

How big is too big for everyday use?

So big that you would rather leave it home or sacrifice some sound quality or battery life to reduce in size and/or weight.

Where do you draw the line?

There was a head-fi'er on here that made a portable rig complete with a dac, amp, LCD-2 Rev 2 Headphones, and a large battery pack that fit inside a bookbag. I don't know if that's drawing the line though haha

I have something similar to the above, but with an ALO Continental V2 attached to the side!  So iPod Classic on top of ALO CLAS on top of JH-3A with Continental on the side.  Fits in the lower side cargo pocket of my shorts and I can walk/water the garden with it....on some occasions my shorts fall off, but only occasionally.....

It depends what you do everyday and how much bulk you can tolerate I suppose. I wouldn't want to take my relatively small setup (just a Pico DAC/Amp, iPhone or Zune, and cans) with me every day. I like taking that stuff on long flights and the like, but not for a short (1 hr-ish) daily commute.
