HELP: How to transfer ATRAC Lossless .oma file to Sony X series player

I ripped a CD to atrac lossless format (.oma) and tried to use Media Go to transfer it to the device, the files always get encoded to mp3 format. Copying the .oma directly to the device  doesn't work either. How to transfer the lossless format to the device?

I guess because I've got the north american version (x1060). Anyway, 256kb AAC sounds very good. I think I'll keep it since the FLAC support is on the way.

By the way, what's the best third party player for Apple lossless and/or FLAC?

http://www.poikosoft.com/ is pretty good.  30 days trail period.

Unless your X1060 is a japanese unit, it won't do it.  Atrac Lossless is only supported on Japanese Walkman.

Totally Off-Topic.... My apologies

Can you tell me whether your X completely shuts down when you press the home button?

When I press down the home button it shuts down but powers on again...It doesnt completely shut down? Is that how the X works?

The manual says 'it goes into standby' while holding down the button. I'm getting confused since I'm turning it on after almost 3 years of non-use.
