For Sale:
Fallen Angel Beta 22 with Sigma power supply.

Will Ship To: CONUS

For sale is my fully balanced Fallen Angel Beta 22 with Sigma power supply. Beautiful build. Phenomenal sound. Below is Fallen Angel's description of the amp when I purchased it.

"You can drive absolutely every headphone with this and even put about 50W into 8Ohm speakers! I drive my 6 Ohm Omega Grande 6R beautifully. It drove my AKG K1000 great and I enjoy it all the time with Sennheiser HD650 and Denon D-5000. No matter the headphones, it's my favorite amp.

Specs:
2 clear anodized Par-Metal chassis
4 custom FrontPanelExpress 6mm panels on front/rear of amp and PSU (well worth the $400 price tag)
Amplifiers running in dual-mono configuration with separate everything - from transformers, to power supplies, to cables, to everything.
The power supply is made of 2 Sigma22 running off a pair of 225VA Plitron transformers, enough for speakers and headphones.
DACT Stepped Attenuator
Vishay/Dale resistors
Nichicon UHE/UPW PSU caps - some of best in class. Most "audiophile" caps in high-quality power supply do more damage than good.
All components hand-matched for ultimate precision

Input/Output
XLR Balanced and RCA Unbalanced input
4-pin XLR balanced output
3-pin XLR balanced output
2x 1/4" TRS unbalanced output

As I'm a cable lover, all of the wiring is Jena Ultrawire (with minimal exceptions in PSU)!

Beta22 Internal - All signal - 22awg Jena, speaker output 2x 18awg Jena, power wiring is Jena power wire."

"DC umbilical uses same wire as Jena power cord (included in price)

Things of note:
The volume control does not feel perfectly smooth because of the extension shaft. Some may not like the slightly stiffer, less "clicky" feel of it, doesn't bother me one bit."

Since I purchased it, it has been repaired once by Fallen Angel and once by another very qualified head-fier. The repairs were necessary due entirely to my fault - I accidentally shorted one channel on two seperate occasions. Other than my causing these two malfunctions, the amp has performed flawlessly for me as both a headphone amp and speaker amp. The amp is in perfect working condition. Cosmetically, there is one small ding on the front plate of the top of the Sigma and one on the underside of the front plate of the amp. If you are serious about the amp, I will email you detailed photos. Overall the amp looks great and sounds as good as ever.

I am not interested in trading. CONUS only. Payment via PayPal only. PayPal users must be verified users with confirmed ship-to addresses. I reserve the right to sell to the buyer of my choice.

Big price drop!

Very clean and nice built. But the price beats them all. If I hadn't set my goal to build a Dynamite (which will probably cost more than this price,) I'd probably jump on this. One small comment... if it were me, I would only power high efficiency speakers with this, because the ventilation and heatsinks are just simply not enough to dump the heat if you really push the output.

Price drop. Minor cosmetics aside, this is a PHENomenal amp.
